2nd week of college is starting tomorrow...this means my internship report should be done by now!

Lucky for me, my lecturer is super cool about everything... I don't really have a deadline for my report but I did tell her that I'd be handing it in sometime this week.

I'm halfway there.... but I seriously don't get my school.

As if an internship itself wasn't enough, they make us write a CURRENT MARKET SITUATION report on top of the activities report. What the hell?!

This final semester should be focused on this thing called...THESIS you know? But no, my school decides to add in 3 extra courses AND a project to the workload. Stupid shit!

Anyhow, I'm glad the classes are only from Monday to Wednesday so at least I have a long weekend to enjoy, wuuuuhoo!

Well, the big plan was to work fulltime on my internship report this week, but I failed oh so miserably, lol. It's not like I don't know what to write, it's just the whole thinking process of trying to put everything into the correct sentences and shit..I'm so lazy to do that! I wish reports could just exist out of bullet points..or simple sentences containing no more than 5 words. Why must it be so difficileee!

Uh oh well.....I am almost there!!!

Ok, to end this post, here are my happy green nails in the dark n sombre winter days!

I had my first ever manicure in Amsterdam a couple of days ago, very happy with the outcome, price & service! :)

I'm wearing OPI's Green-wich Village.. super love the color!

Okai, need to sleep!

PS. Since I have a BlackBerry now, thought i'd join the Twitter madness cus you know.. I wanna be cool too, LOL.

Find me here! =)

AIFW 2010

My girl Miek is interning for Fashion Week, she co-organized the whole event in a team of maybe... 6 people? I want to start this entry by saying how incredibly proud I am of her, she did an awesome job!

The moment I heard Fashion Week was about to start I practically begged her to get me in, haha!

There's something about runway shows that really excites me. New collections, new trends, pretty clothes, hot models and very interesting people. It's inspiring to see all those stylish people in one area together looking gorgeous in their 6 inch louboutins and... so many versions of my dream bag!!!!!! It made my heart pump so fast and I almost died of jealousy, LOL.

In case you have no idea what I'm talking about:

The Jumbo sized Chanel 2.55 classic flap *dreams*

The picture shows the caviar leather version though, I was lazy to google any longer for the lambskin version, but yes! My preference lies with the lambs *mehhhhh*

There are many many MANY bags that make my heart stop, but the 2.55 is my ultimate dream bag! Sigh, one day.
Oh but hey, if there are any Chanel bag donaters out there (any type and size!).. you're at the right address here =P

OK - back on topic!

I didn't get the chance to see all the fashion shows but last friday I watched Claes Iversen, a Danish designer, debut his AW 2010/2011 collection named "La Petite Femme". It was a pretty decent collection featuring lots of nude colors (which I LOVE btw!), ruffles, navy, velvet (another current obsession!) and brown. There were also a few checks pieces that I quite liked! However, one of the major things I really didn't like were the apricot pink & bordeaux combinations.. not a fan of that colour combo for sure :X

A couple of hours later I had the pleasure of watching the SuperTrash show.. the most anticipated show of em all, I think? It was mad crowded! I'm easily wow-ed by these shows, so I think it was awesome! I loved the clothing, the styling, the trends. It was pretty much the same as the current trends.. pointy big shoulders, sequins, bodycon dresses, big belts, leggings and lots of black leather. I also loved the earthy colors of the garments, very autumn!
Apparently, Rolling Stone's guitarist Keith Richards' daughter, Alexandra Richards, was the special guest, but I kind of don't know her, lol.

The next day I went a little earlier to help out Miek cus there was this virus going around the night before that made quite a number of people vomit and went home feeling sick. I caught the EnD by Eva and Delia show, a Dutch duo...oh yeah! The collection was tres chic featuring lots of black (I love how designers love black as much as I do!) and again, earthy colors and a splash of white here and there. I loved the cute dresses with ribbons and the oversized blazers.

Taken with my BB =D

I watched another show after this but I don't think it's worth showing here..the designs were awfully awful :X!

After all the shows, I headed over to the building across to coat check at one of the after parties. I was asked by my friend to help cus a few girls called in sick, so I did. It's a pretty tiring job for not-so-tall people like me! I hated it when I had to take off coats off the highest rack cus they were often heavy (2 coats on 1 hanger) and I had to take them off the rack to check if I had the right coat (which usually wasnt the case so then I had to hang them back!). Well, it's not my favourite job in the world but I survived and only worked 5 hours instead of 6 and got a pretty sweet pay afterwards! =)
There were super a lot of goodie bags left by the end of the night so everyone was given a goodie bag, the boss even allowed us to take two home :) Very happy cus inside was a waterproof mascara andddddd... OPI nailpolish!!! WOOHOOOO!

I'm really sad I missed the Replay show yesterday cus I wanted to see Victoria's Secret angel Ana Beatriz Barros live in action! :( I woke too late so I couldn't make it in time..blah. I also did not go to the show after cus I got kinda lazy and tired to go out in the cold and all.. but I heard it was an awesome show! Sad.

I tried taking pics myself during the shows but I couldn't fix my camera settings on time..it was either too light or too dark to capture and the models were moving too fast :(

Thinking back, I regret not snapping more pictures with my digi cam of the whole event cus that would've been nice! Especially backstage shots. It totally slipped my mind! I think I was more busy trying not to freeze my ass off, cus it was CCCCOLD out there!

It was an interesting event filled with interesting (not always meant in a good way tho :P) people...it's always fun to watch them :)

SOOOOOO ANYWAYS.

I failed my Globalization 1 re-sit but I'm ok with it cus I am still allowed to attend Globalization 2 classes, which means...no delays so far, yay!

However, I'm feeling the pressure of finishing my internship report now after hearing that all my goddamn hardworking classmates have been graded for theirs already, WTF!

This week I'm gonna work hardcore on my report..MUST FINISH IT.

I'm not happy with the size and position of the banner yet along with other minor things...hmmm I'll fix it later! :)

ELMO

Meet the cutest dog EVER!

That's Elmo, my baby's dog in Malaysia, but after living with him in the same house for several months, I pretty much consider it my own dog, heheehee =P

I'm far from a dog loving person, I actually dislike them very very much, partly because they scare me a little with their energy/appearance/teeth and partly because I was bitten by a dog once when I was younger. In my hand :( So I'm kind of traumatized and bittered you can say!

I usually only like dogs when they're puppies (they don't have teeth yet so they can't bite me) and don't want anything to do with them anymore when they're all grown up. But this cutiepie has changed my whole attitude towards dogs. I still don't like ALL dogs, but at least I am less afraid of them now and I consider giving some dogs a chance.

I first met Elmo back in 2006, that was when I was still very much afraid of dogs, especially hyper ones like him! He'd always smell and lick my toes and jump on me crazily :S Elmo was only 1 year old back then and looking back at his pictures..HE WAS SOOO CUTE!

I only got really close to this little baby when I actually lived in that house from May last year onwards. Before that I did like him more & more, but not to the stage that I was obsessed with him, which I kinda am now, lol!

His personality is super adorable, I love how he'd drop ANYTHING for human food, haha he's my little fatty. I always get scolded by my bf and his mom for feeding him too much, but I can't help it cus it makes me so happy to see him happy :)))!

I love to see him play with his toys, and I love buying them for him! I bought a Disney pillow for him in 2008 during Christmas, a snowman in 2009 and I also bought him Sesame Street's Elmo but baby won't let me give it to him :(!

I love it when I come home and the first thing he does is jump on my lap cus he's excited to see me. I love it when he relaxes on the floor or couch with me while I tickle his tummy and falls asleep. I love watching him eat cus the way he eats looks so satisfying, as if he's eating the most yummiest thing in the entire world, haha. I love it when he lies down in his Superman position, uber cuteness!

And the thing I love most is whenever baby brings him out to pick me up from work!
The moment I see him wagging his tail in the car, it just lightens up my whole spirit, he never ever fails to make me smile! Elmo will automatically jump to my seat and wait for the window to go down so he can stick his head out and enjoy the wind, I swear it is the cutestttt sight ever!

I miss him SO much, when I left KL I felt like I left my child behind.. cus Elmo is my little baby :(
I miss feeding him, soh-ing him, playing with him, hugging him, running with him, spoiling him!

I can't believe how incredibly attached I got to this dog, I always thought that it was stupid how pet owners were so crazy and in love with their pets, but now I understand. Elmo is a dog with such a cute character, it's impossible to dislike him!

Elmo when he was less than a year old *meltsssssss*

Now he is 4 years old already but I think he still looks like a puppy, that face is too frigging cute!
He's kinda long for a Shih Tzu and most Shih Tzus aren't this big & fat either... but it only makes him cuter!

El's lansi look =P

He lovesssss Durian! ;)

* Baby sent me this video today which made me smile cus little Elmo hasn't forgotten about me yet =)

video

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW :(

Thank you for this video baby, totally made my day!

I took loads of videos during my stay, but I need to edit them all into one video so it's gonna take some time. But when I'm done I'll def post it up and you will just DIE of cuteness, lol!

Can't wait til next time I see him!!!!!!

No sense at all

I don't get it.

This girl adds me on BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) claiming that she has me on her MSN list, which I believe because how else would she know my BB pin right?

Then I ask her whether she knows me (cus I don't have her on my list) and she goes 'Urmm well I used to or else I wouldn't have you on my list!'

-_-

We go back and forth about how we may know each other, but none of the options seem to be it. I don't have it often that I totally BLANK out on a name, I usually remember most people I've met somewhere at the back of my head, but this one? Totally clueless.

So back to the part that I don't get: She doesn't know me, yet adds me on BBM.

WTF? What's the point?

It's not like she's full of conversation or anything!

People with these kinda minds just somehow piss me off, you know? No sense at all!

DELETE!
